As recently as just a few years ago, Austin Williams wasn’t all that interested in launching a country music career. But after undergoing back surgery at 15, he spent his recovery time teaching himself how to play the guitar, write songs, and sing in the studio. He shared parts of his musical journey on TikTok and quickly gained more than 300,000 followers. It would lead to him releasing a slew of independent songs, including “Are You Really Gone” and “Bury My Bones,” before eventually putting out his official debut song, “Wanna Be Saved.”
